Special safety instructions

Never use the barbecue indoors, in
outhouses, garages, cabins, tents or other
spaces with limited air circulation, as
this may cause death due to carbon monoxide poisoning/suffocation!
The barbecue should be placed on a firm, level surface before being lit.
This surface must be non-flammable, e.g. flagstones, paving stones or packed earth.
The barbecue can also be placed on a table if a heat-resistant plate is positioned
under the barbecue.
There must be no flammable objects above, below or near to the barbecue.
NEVER pour lighter fluid, petrol, paraffin or other flammable liquids onto the
barbecue while it is hot! Doing so can cause flames or explosions, which can result
in very serious burns!
Do not dispose of embers and hot ash from the barbecue in rubbish sacks.
Use separate cooking utensils for raw and cooked meat. Keep them separate to
avoid transfer of bacteria to the cooked meat and the risk of food poisoning.
WARNING! The surface of this barbecue will become very hot. Do not move it
during operation. Never use indoors.
WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or re-lighting! Use only
firelighters complying with EN 1860-3!
WARNING! Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
The maximum temperature of the barbecue may be reduced if it is positioned in a
very windy location, or if you barbecue in the winter, when it may be both cold and
windy.
Note! Materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and heatproof paint are available
in many different grades. Common to them all is that the surroundings and heat will
affect the metals in the long term, resulting in colour changes, peeling, etc.
