3.1 - Ensure that the magnetic plates and the car rooftop area are both perfectly clean and dry.
3.2 - Always lock the ski- and snowboard rack on, even whilst travelling.
4.1 - For safety reasons, the magnetic device must be fixed onto the car rooftop by means of the
appropriate safety belt, as shown (per EC Directive 79/488).
Slip the safety belt internally to the car and position the plastic stop device so that the buckle is as close up as
possible to the car door. In case of rainy weather, sling the safety belt only through the door strut to avoid
water seeping
5 - Dismantling and maintenance: use the disassembly key and drag vertically.
For safety and maintenance of your magnetic ski- and snowboard rack, clean at regular intervals only by
hand, using warm water.
Fine particles can cause small lines. Mat areas can appear on soft paint with colour or bright effect. Paints
which are not perfectly hardened can be alterated in colours.
Keep the ski-racks away after use. All responsabilities are declined for paint damages
WARRANTY:
The magnetic ski- and snowboard rack materials could be subject to wear and tear due to weather
conditions or improper use. When damaged, magnetic ski/snowboard racks can no longer be used.The ski-
and snowboard rack can be given away or lent to a new user, only if accompanied by complete assembly
instructions. Any possible claims and/or rights to claim can be undertaken only if duly documented with a
very high quality photograph showing the assembly position of both rack plates.
KEYS:
Store the spare set of rack keys separately (they could possibly be stored away together with the spare set of
car keys).
WARNING: THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPERLY SECURING THE LOAD BEING
TRANSPORTED. FREQUENTLY CHECK TH EBIKES AND BIKERACK WHILE ON THE ROAD.
