This kit is dedicated to the compensation line
between two helm's tank in a dual steering
station installation for the following helm models:
• UP 20 F-T;
• UP 25 F-R-T;
• UP 28 F-R-T;
• UP 33 F-R-T;
• UP 39 F-R-T;
• UP 45 F-R-T.
The kit consists in:
1. n°2 1/8" NPT STRAIGHT FITTINGS FOR
3/8" HOSE
2. n°2 1/4" NPT STRAIGHT FITTINGS FOR
3/8" HOSE
3. n°2 TEE FITTINGS FOR 3/8" HOSE
4. n°1 NO-VENT PLUG
WARNING – This kit cannot be used for pressure
line hoses (max 3bar / 0.3 MPa / 43.5psi).
KIT 95-2S
INSTALLATION
1) Install fittings on the helms as illustrated
on their Installation and Maintenance
Manual
Warning: all helm models, excluding new
UP20 F/T that needs 1/8" NPT straight
fittings, need 1/4" NPT straight fittings for
3/8" hose.
2) Finger-screw the nuts on the fittings.
3) Insert tubing (not provided) inside the nut
until it bottoms the fitting.
4) Complete the seal with one wrench turn.
5) By a TEE fitting for 3/8" hose, connect
Starboard lines of helms and cylinder,
each other.
6) By the second TEE fitting for 3/8" hose,
connect Port lines of helms and cylinder,
each other.
7) Replace vent plug of the additional helm
station with the no-vent plug.
