PHOTOS 29 & 30. Fit the parts C, D and E and glue them together to make up the wheels support. Insert the axle 110 and the
hoops 112 and glue the wheels to the ends. Finally glue the hoops to the axle to centre the assembly and make sure that the
wheels turn freely. Attach the assembly just using two screws F (do not glue it to the chassis) in case you want to remove it one
day to motorise the model. Glue the chassis bars 113, those for the hubs 114 and the sloping bars 115. With the latter the
carriage springs frame will have to be filed down until the bar fits. Insert one of the bolts 116 into the end of the beam. See the
close up photo. Use quick-drying glue. Paint a steel colour.
PHOTO 31. Pin and glue the lifesaver support 117 and then glue the lifesaver 118 to it. Glue and fit the stops 119 into place.
Glue the running gear beam covers 120 into pace. Use quick-drying glue. Paint the parts black and steel colour.
PHOTO 32. Make up the compressor using the parts 121, 122, 123, 124, 125 and 126. Make up the supports 127. Glue the
compressor and its supports to the base 128. Then glue this assembly to the tram. Fit the compressor pipe 129 in place. Use
quick-drying glue. Paint black and steel colour.
PHOTO 33. Fit and glue the coupling bars 130. Hook the chain 131 up to one of the rings B (inserted in one of the holes in the
stop) at one end and, at the other, the previously made up hooks 132. Paint as indicated.
PHOTO 34. Make up the stairs using parts 133, 134 and 135. Use white glue. Paint them black and glue them onto the tram.
Insert and glue the handgrips 136 in place.
PHOTOS 35 & 36. Glue the supports 137 t the indicated intervals and glue the gangways 138, which have to project out at the
ends, onto them. Use white glue. Fit and glue the springs 139 into the holes made for them, using part 140 as a template.
PHOTO 37. Glue the parts 140, 141 and 142 together to make up the accumulators. Use white glue. Paint them a steel colour
and glue them onto the springs. Make Ø 1.5 mm holes and glue the legs 144 to the circuit breakers 143. Make more holes of
the same diameter in the ceiling and glue the circuit breakers, painted grey. Use quick-drying glue.
PHOTO 38. Make up the pantograph support using the parts 145, 146, 147 and 148. Make up the spring 149 by winding the
wire round an object with a diameter of approximately 3 mm, as shown in the inserted box. Fit a shaft 150. Use quick-drying
glue. Paint this assembly a steel colour.
PHOTO 39. Slot the arms of the pantograph 151 into the base and attach them using brass washers 152. Trim off the excess
length of the shafts. At the top insert and glue the roller 153 into place on the shafts 150 and then bend these in a downwards
curve. Glue the bars 154 and 155 that attach the pantograph arms into place. Use quick-drying glue. Paint the assembly a steel
colour.
PHOTO 40. Paint the headlights 156 and 157 and glue them into place in the Ø 1,5 mm holes previously made in the roof.
Finally paint the logotype plaques gold, blue and orange. Use quick-drying glue.
