INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
2a. Trial fit shower base (A) in preared
alcove. With base sitting flat on floor,
check with level on top of base. Base
should be level from front-to-back and
side-to-side. Some shimming between
base feet and subfloor might be
required. Remove base from alcove.
Note: If sub-floor is not level, a floor
leveling compound (smooth mortar)
or a similar quick-setting compound
specifically made for leveling floors is
an excellent way to fully support and
level base instead of wood shims.
2b. If using shims (not included), apply a
generous bead of construction
adhesive (not included) to each foot of
shower base (A) and shim.
Note: Do not place the shower base (A)
in the alcove yet!
2c. If you pefer to use a floor leveling compound
(not included) instead of shims, follow the
floor leveling compound manufacturer's
instuctions. Place three or four mounds on
the subfloor around but away from drain
hole. The mounds should be placed high
enough so when the shower base (A) is set,
the compound will displace and spread.
Note: Do not place the shower base (A)
in the alcove yet!
