Chainsaw Assembly and Chain Tensioning
Always pull out the power supply plug and put on
protective gloves before doing any work on a chainsaw!
1) Remove the guide bar cover by turning the guide bar cover
screw (10) to the left.
2) Set the saw chain over the guide bar (NOTE: the saw teeth on
the upper side of the guide bar must point towards the tip).
3) Place the guide bar with saw chain on the guiding bolt (G).
4) Put the guide bar cover back in place (NOTE: make sure the
guiding bolt (G) is secured in the screw hole
(H), and that the adjustment pin (F) fits into the tensioning hole
(E) on the guide bar), and that you lightly attach it by turning the
guide bar cover screw (10) to the right.
5) Tensioning the saw chain using the supplied spanner (B4).
6) Firmly tighten the supplied screw on the left (G).
