Also, follow the unit wiring diagram on page 13 as
a reference. The wiring diagram provided with the
unit takes priority over the on/off generic diagram
in the manual; if the unit wiring diagram shows
the wiring for induced draft, that is the drawing to
follow.
7. Inside the J-box, replace the main power switch
with the new 2-pole switch provided. Connect the
wires of HARNESS 1, which connects incoming
power to the COM side of the 2-pole switch, per
Figure 5.
8. Secure the 6-wire end of HARNESS 2 to the J-box
through an available conduit hole, securing it in
place with the provided connector.
9. Connect the wires to the wiring inside the J-box per
Figure 6. Disconnect the RED wire from pin 6 on
the ignition module. Leave the other end attached
to the flow switch; that wire will connect to the ORN
wire on HARNESS 2. Connect the 120V BLK that
powers the heater to one of the poles exiting the
2-pole power switch.

10. Connect the other end of the conduit (8 wire
terminations) to the PV control, located underneath
the fan motor, securing it with the provided
connector.
11. The end of HARNESS 3 with dissimilar wire
terminations connects to the controls housing.
Secure it with the provided connector.
12. Connect the wires to the wiring inside the PV
control housing per Figure 7.
13. Connect the opposite end of HARNESS 3 to the
fan motor per the orientation drawing, , and Figure
7.
14. Connect a ground wire (minimum wire size 14
gauge) from the fan motor to the single-point
ground lug in the J-box.
15. Attach the cover to the PV control housing.
16. Connect CAT III (positive-pressure, non-condensing)
flue material to the flue discharge collar; see the
venting section.
