Price Holding – This determines where the price is held.
Max Credit
On Single Vend, it is typically set to just above the vend price (or to allow a note).
Price Display
This allows the user to see a price for a selection without having to insert any money. They
can do this by pressing the selection key.
Yes: Show price when selection pressed.

No: Do not show the price.

Vend Type
This determines what the changer will do with any excess credit once a vend cycle has been
completed. Two settings are available: Single Vend and Multi Vend.
Single Vend: Does 1 vend and then pays change automatically.

Multi Vend: Holds onto the excess credit after the initial vend and allows the
•
customer to either request another or press the reject lever. Once the reject lever is
pressed, the remaining credit is returned. This setting also returns excess credit to the
customer if there is no activity for a time after the initial vends.
Overpay
Any excess credit that the customer has inserted into the machine will not be received as
change.
The overpay value can be handled in 2 ways:
Retained: The value is left within the system and is available for the next
•
vend/customer.
Cleared: Any outstanding credit that cannot be repaid is reset to 0.

Overpay Amount
The amount of money the changer will potentially not pay back to the customer. 0 indicates
that the customer will never be short changed. The exact change light will be on in these
conditions. Typical use will depend on the cassette. For example, if the lowest tube coin is
0.10 USD, it may allow an overpay of 0.05 USD.
Any cleared overpay is typically recorded in an audit field; otherwise, balancing the money
taken and product sold would be impossible. There may be legal ramification for different
countries as to whether overpay can be cleared or retained.
