MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Do not use the helmet and lens unless it is fully assembled.
1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will prevent
unnecessary problems.
2. Follow instructions for changing accessories.
3. Carefully inspect your auto-darkening welding filter lens regularly. Cracked, pitted or scratched filter glass
or cover lenses will reduce vision and seriously impair protection. These should be replaced immediately to
avoid damage to the eyes. Inspect the complete helmet frequently and replace worn or damaged parts.
CHANGE EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL LENS
The external and internal lenses will wear out and need replacement after a period of use due to exposure to the
heat, fumes and particulate matter generated during welding.
1. CHANGE INTERNAL LENS
a. Remove the front lens by pulling out the retaining
frame by press the lugs from the helmet (Fig. 3).
b. Take out the old cover lens (Fig. 4).
