ASSEMBLY
NOTE: When this manual refers to a part number, it refers to the included parts list.
The welding helmet comes preassembled. If lenses need to be installed, refer to the MAINTENANCE section for
instructions on exchanging the lenses.
OPERATION
ADJUST THE WELDING HELMET FIT
The headband should be adjusted both in diameter and height. The angle between face
and helmet should also be adjusted (recommended 10° to 12°).
1. Adjust the headband diameter with the twist knob on the back. The knob is
locked until pushed in. Once unlocked, twist clockwise to tighten and
anticlockwise to loosen.
2. Adjust the height by releasing the tab and changing the top strap hole.
3. Adjust the helmet to get the desired viewing angle. Once the angle is correct,
tighten the two knobs connecting the headband to the helmet shell until snug.
The helmet should still swing up, but it should not drift downward when in
place for welding.
ADJUST THE CARTRIDGE FILTER
NOTE: The solar unit automatically switches on and charges the built in battery when exposed to light.
