Use control panel to control your cooker hood (Fig. 4)
Speed Selection The product has 5 speeds of ventilation level. One of 1,2,3,4,5 speeds is
selected in accordance with steam of cooking or fry. Motor is started pressing "
on the front panel. Speed is increased pressing " > ", button, and decreased by pressing " < ".
Automatic timer (TIMER) is available at the models with electronic remote control. When you press "
button more than 2 seconds, timer function will be on for 15 minutes. When the timer is on,
Display will signal and the motor will be off automatically 15 minutes later. Please use the cooker
and the product at the same time to enable circulation. Doing so, air suction power will be affected
positively.
We recommend you to operate your product for few minutes more after the cooking is
completed to enable absorption rest of smell and steam.
Illumination
The product has 4 lamps and one lamp button to operate illumination. Press lamp button "
order to start illumination.
Remote control unit (Fig. 4b)
Your cooker hood can be controlled by a remote control unit.
Remote control unit functions are described below:
1. Turn the fan on/off
2. Reduce cooker hood fan speed
3. Increase cooker hood fan speed
4. Turn the light on/off
Press the POWER button to turn on the cooker hood fan. The fan will run at speed 2.
The hood light can be switched on independently from the "POWER" button.
To use the remote control unit:
- Insert batteries in the remote control by removing the battery compartment cover on the back of the
remote control unit.
- Place the new batteries in the remote control unit according to the markings inside the battery com-
partment.
- Close the battery cover.
- Point the remote control unit toward the front of the cooker hood.
Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote control transmitter and the sensor on the
cooker hood. Fluorescent light can interfere with the remote control operation.
Batteries for the remote control are not included. Batteries can be purchased in any corner shop or retail
outlet.
Odour sensor (automatic mode)
Touch „Auto" to activate/deactivate the odour sensor.
Touch „Auto" to activate the odour sensor – „A" will be displayed for 1 minute (time it takes to activate
and calibrate the sensor).
In Auto mode the cooker hood detects air pollutants such as NH , NOx, CO , alcohol and at a minimal
increase in air pollution (from the reference calibration) operates at speed 2. Higher air pollution causes
fan speed to be increased.
When odour sensor is active, the „A" symbol alternates with speed level on the display every 3 seconds.
Touch „<" or „>" to change fan speed that is automatically selected based on odour sensor input. The
appliance will operate at the new speed for one minute and then fan speed will be selected automatical-
ly depending on the air purity.
Odour sensor can operate at 9 sensitivity levels. Level 1 is the least sensitive, while level 9 is the most
sensitive. The factory sensitivity setting is level 5. Touch „AUTO" and hold for 5 seconds. The sensitivity
value will be flashing on the display. Touch „AUTO" again to adjust sensor sensitivity.
Odour sensor (automatic mode) turns off after 15 minutes.
