4. Connection
NOTE: don't connect a power source before having established all other connections.
1. Open the housing by squeezing the lid lock and lifting the lid.
2. Unscrew the 2 screws that hold the camera platform in place.
3. Take the camera and its platform out of the housing.
4. Install the lens. If the camera is too long (for installation as in step 11), execute step 5 ; if not, skip 5 and go to 6.
5. Loosen the screw at the bottom of the camera, adjust its position and fasten the screw.
6. Install the camera + platform in the housing.
7. Screw the nut off the stopper, screw the stopper onto the bottom of the housing and tighten it with the nut.
8. Put the cables through the stopper and screw the cable holder tightly (we suggest cables with Ø<14mm).
9. Connect the video cable with the camera and the power cable to the source board.
10. Use the D screw (see p.1) to connect the ground cable with the terminal ring (see p.1) to the ground point of the
housing and connect the 100~240Vac power plug.
NOTE: an all-pole mains switch with a contact separation of at least 3mm in each pole shall be incorporated in
the electrical installation of the building.
11. Adjust the lens focus and pull the camera forward as close as possible to the glass plate and fix the platform
with the 2 screws (see step 2).
12. Close the lid and use screw C (see p.1) to ensure the lid stays firmly locked to the rest of the housing.
