FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR R&G 5.5" – 6.5" ROUND CAN COVER (Code EP0009BK)
The R&G can cover is designed to fit in your preferred position on the exhaust muffler.
Open the jubilee clip completely, so that it is no longer continuous.
Place black "rubber" strip around the can, in the position intended for the jubilee clip of the can cover.
Cut the strip to size.
Locate the jubilee clip around the strip.
Check that the position of the can cover is as required. Re-tighten the jubilee clip in order to secure the can
cover.
Cut off excess part of the jubilee clip to keep things neat, safe and tidy.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that no part of the exhaust protector assembly fouls or
comes into contact with other parts of the machine. Do not ride the motorcycle until this aspect has been
verified and you have compressed the rear suspension (if appropriate to the design of the motorcycle) to
test this thoroughly.
