Using Batteries
To use batteries, lift tab on battery door A and insert six alkaline "AA" batteries B (not
included). Replace battery door. For best performance, brand name non-rechargeable
batteries are recommended. Generic batteries may impact pump performance.
Low Battery Indication
When batteries are low, the first suction level indicator C will blink, but the pump will
still be usable.
C
Once battery level is too low to pump, the pump will stop and not turn on until the
batteries are replaced or the AC adapter is used. During this time the first suction level
indicator C will blink, but the pump will not turn on.

Correct Flange Size vs. Too Small or Too Large
A proper flange size is needed for comfort and to maintain your milk supply. Your
flange size can change several times throughout your journey. Recheck your flange fit
frequently to ensure you are using the proper flange size.

nipple. A minimal amount
of your areola is drawn into
the tunnel with the nipple.
IMPORTANT
• DO NOT use the flange insert if your nipple is larger than the center opening.
• Your breast may change over time. Should this occur, choose a different size for
maximum comfort. Additionally, each breast may require a different flange size.
• Included flange sizes may not fit all breast and nipple sizes, but additional sizes
can be purchased separately. If you are having issues after trying all included sizes,
please contact our Parent's Ally Consumer Care for assistance.

To ensure a good seal, place the flange A gently, but

firmly, against your breast, with your nipple directly in
the center, as shown. Hold the bottle upright to ensure
that milk flows into the bottle. Use the flange or
appropriate flange insert that is the most comfortable
and seals against your breast the best.
Note: Use only one soft flange insert per flange.
Be sure the outside edge of the flange has a
complete seal against the breast without
excessive pressure.
