Safety notes for installation in hazardous areas:
1.) Install according to the manufacturer's instructions and any other valid standards and guidelines.
2.) The intrinsic safe input and output circuits of the Micropilot S FMR53x are galvanically isolated from ground potential.
The dielectric strength against ground potential is limited by gas tubes rated 600V.
3.) Special conditions (X designation):
The antennas of the Micropilot S FMR 532 and the FMR 533 have plastic surfaces which can become electrostatically charged.
Do not locate the antennas so that they are subjected to hazardous charges caused by flowing media (e.g. filling curtain).
Avoid electrostatic charges when cleaning the antennas.
4.) Refer to Tables 1 and 2 for the relationship between the permissible ambient temperature of the electronic housing as a factor
of the permissible temperature at the antenna and the resulting temperature class of the Micropilot S FMR53x.

5.) If the housing is realigned, check that the locking screw (Allen screw at housing neck) is screwed tight again.
6.) Permanent operating temperature of power supply and signal cable ≥ Tamb + 5
7.) The type of protection changes as follows when the transmitter is connected to certified intrinsically safe circuits of Category
Ex ib for Equipment Groups IIC and IIB: EEx ib IIC T6 and EEx ib IIB T6.
Do not operate the antenna in Zone 0 if the transmitter is connected to an intrinsically safe circuit of Category Ex ib.
7.1 Comply with the pertinent guidelines when connecting intrinsically safe circuits (EN 60079-14; Proof of Intrinsic Safety) (e.g.
when using a Commubox, handheld terminal DXR 275 or other certified apparatus).
