Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions, damage or physical injury:
▪ Make sure the power mains voltage available in your area
corresponds to the operating voltage stated on the type label.
▪ Children above 8 years and persons with limited physical,
sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the unit, un-
less they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a quali-
fied person. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the unit.
▪ The unit is not intended for continuous professional operation.
The unit is intended to be used in closed rooms only and in simi-
lar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels,
motels and other residential type environments; bed and break-
fast type environments. The use in any other way is not consid-
ered as intended use.
▪ Never leave the unit for long time unsupervised when in use.
Keep out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision.
▪ The unit must not be operated by means of an external timer or
a separate remote-control system.
▪ Connect the power plug of the unit only to a properly grounded
socket. Do not unplug from power mains by pulling the power
cord. Always grasp the plug itself to unplug. Do not touch the
plug with wet hands.
▪ Only place the unit on a stable, flat, water and heat-resistant
surface. Never place the unit near or on hot surfaces such as
gas or electric stoves. The unit becomes warm during use! Place
the unit well away from walls and curtains.
▪ Do not operate the unit outdoors and always use it in dry
locations. Do not cover the unit. There is risk of fire!
▪ Do not transport the unit during operation.
▪ After each use, unplug from power supply before cleaning or
when not in use. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
