Operation
6 Operation
The operating functions can be accessed by the setting wheel (see „De-
vice overview" on page 21). The settings are transferred to connected
radiator thermostats as well as to the Alpha IP app, and displayed there.
• Temperature: Rotate the setting wheel to the right or to the left in
order to change the temperature. In automatic operation, the set
temperature is held until the next switch-over point is reached. Sub-
sequently the set heating profile is re-activated. In manual opera-
tion, the temperature is held until the next manual change.
• Manual and automatic operation: Press and hold the setting
wheel for 3 seconds in order to change between the operating
modes Automatic and Manual. In automatic operation, the heating
profile set with the Alpha IP app is active. In manual operation, the
temperature can be set via device or app and will be held until the
next manual change.
• Boost function: Press the setting wheel quickly in order to activate
the boost function for quick heating-up. The boost function is active
for 5 minutes.
In connection with the Alpha IP app, the Alpha IP Access Point offers
further configuration possibilities, for example:
Adaptation of the boost duration (up to 30 minutes)
Activation/deactivation of the operating lock
