4. Operation

• Remove the packaging.
• Check the device, power supply and cables for damage.
• Connect the device to the mains power. The device must be switched off at this time.
• Route the cable safely so that there is no risk of anyone tripping over it.
• Switch on the device using the On/Off switch.
• Place the applicator on the base station and insert the second wax cartridge into the separate heating
chamber as shown in the image.
• The indicator lamp flashes while heating is taking place. Once the wax has heated fully, the indicator
lamp then remains continuously lit. This process lasts approx. 25–30 minutes.
• As soon as the wax is hot, roll the wax roller until it rotates without any problems.
• If you are using a warm wax hair remover for the first time, please refer to the instructions to ensure you
are using it correctly.
• In order to become accustomed to the hair removal system and to ensure that you are not allergic to it,
it is preferable to start with a small area on the lower part of the leg. Then wait 24 hours before carrying
out the complete hair removal process.
• The skin must be clean and dry prior to carrying out hair removal.
NOTE
• The wax cartridge contains 50 ml wax. This quantity is sufficient for two half legs and a small
number of follow-up treatments. The more practice you get the less wax you will need to use.
• In order to ensure optimum hygiene and cleanliness, the wax roller and the warm wax cartridge
have been designed for single use and must be disposed of following use. Doing so prevents
infections and inflammations.
• Never remove hair straight after a bath or shower; wait approx. two hours to ensure the skin is not
irritated.
• If you want to use a sunbed within 24 hours of carrying out hair removal, protect your skin by
using suncream.
• Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth, ensuring that the roller rotates and that the device is held at
a 45° angle to prevent wax leaking out.
• Insert the applicator onto the base station between uses to ensure that the wax retains its temperature
and does not leak out.
• The fabric strip must be laid on the skin immediately after the wax is applied. Lay the strip in the direc-
tion of hair growth, covering the entire area, to ensure that the strip sticks to the wax effectively.
• Keep the skin taunt using your free hand and pull away the strip using a firm, backward movement,
against the direction of hair growth and parallel to the surface of the skin.
