Fastening to the wall
Open the button by loosening the side screw, perforate the two points shown (Fig. 5), and fasten to the wall with the
screws supplied with the device. Be careful not to damage the surrounding electronic components.
Fastening clip insertion
Open the button by loosening the side screw, perforate the seal and fasten with the screw provided (Fig. 6). Close the
cover and tighten the fastening screw.
Connection to existing ringer systems
Connect as shown in (Fig. 7) for systems with 8-12Vac ringers. Respect the polarity ( C= - V= + ) for 8-12Vdc ringers
(Fig. 8). Connect as shown in (Fig. 9) to connect an external button. Check that the wire hole is well sealed when
installing the transmitter button outdoors.
RECEIVER INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
ECO receiver fastening procedure
The ECO receiver can be fastened to the wall using hole "A" (Fig. 10) or fastened to the wall by means of screws and
wall plugs by perforating points "B" (Fig. 10). To do this, open the front flap in the point shown in (Fig. 20).
Power
The ECO receiver must be powered by four 1.5 V (LR14/C) batteries, not included (Fig. 11).
Plug the ECOFLASH receiver into a 230Vca 50Hz power socket (Fig. 12). The device will be physically turned by 90°
when plugged into an Italian socket. This could cause a minimal reduction in range.
Sound type selection procedure (MELODY function)
To choose the sound (applicable for the two "EC" and EF" models only), repeatedly press "T2" to start searching the
available melodies. LED 2 will blink during the selection (Fig. 13 - 14). The selected melody will be assigned to the last
transmitter which sent a command. The melody will be repeated (Fig. 14). Note: in order to avoid possible dazzling
during the selection of the melodies the LED will blink thus simulating the flash that, however, will be visible only during
the normal operation.
FLASH programming procedure
The ECOFLASH receiver can be programmed to blink only (without sound). Press T2 until no melody is heard. LED 2
will keep blinking (Fig. 14).
Volume adjustment procedure
The melody volume can be adjusted in ECO receivers by turning the knob shown (Fig. 13).
signals are always played at maximum volume.
Ringer MUTE function
Pag. 8
Hold "T2" pressed for at least 3 seconds until LED 2 blinks briefly. The ringer will be muted (Fig. 13 - 14). LED 2 will
blink to indicate muting (applicable to the two "EC" and "EF" models). Press "T1" or "T2" briefly to reactivate the
ringer. It is advisable to remove the batteries if the device is not used for a long time. The blinking will also be
deactivated when the ringer is muted in versions with flasher (Fig. 14).
ALARM function
Hold the transmitter button (Fig. 16) for at least 3 seconds to trigger an alarm signal. This function may be used to
indicate a danger or to call someone (applicable for "EC" and "EF" models only). This function may be deactivated by
cutting the jumper as shown in (Fig. 17).

PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

The transmitter is already combined with its receiver (default setting). Each code has a univocal code to prevent
interference with the other devices. A receiver may be controlled also by several transmitters (max. 20). A transmitter
may also control an undefined group of receivers. Figure 18 shows some possibilities. Each transmitter may be
combined with a different melody for automatically recognising the origin of the call.
New transmitter storage procedure
Other transmitters and receivers should be programmed before being installed. Hold "T1" pressed for at least 3
seconds until the green LED 1 lights up (Fig. 13 - 14). Press the transmitter button briefly (Fig. 16). The receiver will
ring and the LED 1 will go to confirm programming. LED 1 will start blinking if approximately one minute elapses
without programming the transmitters. Repeat the programming procedure if this occurs.
Stored transmitter clearing procedure (CLEAR function)
To delete a stored transmitter, hold "T1" pressed for at least 3 seconds until the green LED 1 lights up (Fig. 13 - 14).
Wait for the LED to go out. At this point, all the transmitters stored in the receiver will be cleared. Transmitters can be
programmed again at this point.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
Exhausted batteries must be disposed properly in the specific bins. Do not litter.
Transmitter (Fig. 19): replace the battery when the indicator LED is not fully bright. Use 12V (A23 alkaline) batteries
only. Open the transmitter by loosening the side screw, replace the battery and close again.
ECO receiver (Fig. 11): replace the batteries when the receiver stops working or the volume is too low. Open the
cover, replace the batteries (4 x 1.5V LR14C alkaline C) and close the cover.
Always use batteries of the same type and ensure that are fully charged.
