3.3 ADJUSTING HEAD TUBE AND SEAT POST
For safety reasons, please do not extend the head tube and/or the seat post over the maximum limit line.
3.4 ADJUSTING THE HANDLEBAR
Stand in front of your e-bike. Place the front wheel between your legs. Hold the handlebar tightly with both hands. Adjust the
handlebar so that it is at a right-angle with the top tube of your e-bike. Tighten the nut at the top of the stem. Recommended torque
is 18 Nm. When adjusting the height of the handlebar and saddle, please do not extend the head post and/or seat post beyond the
maximum limit line. After adjusting the handlebar, head bar, saddle and seat post, please remember to tighten the nuts.
3.5 ADJUSTING THE WHEELS
After replacing the wheels, tighten the nuts according to the recommended torque. For rear wheel, the torque should be not less
than 30 Nm. For front wheel, the torque should be not less than 18 Nm.
3.6 INSTALLING THE PEDALS
Normally the left pedal is installed at the factory.
The "L" marking means it is the left pedal
and "R" means it is the right pedal.
Please install accordingly to avoid
damage to the crank arm.
3.7 ADJUSTING THE CHAIN
If the chain is too long, it will skip between gears, which means it is not correctly installed, and at this time the chain has not meshed
with the cog correctly, thus affecting the cycling performance; if this occurs, the chain should be adjusted right away.
To set the correct chain tension:
Adjust the front derailleur to the lowest shift (the smallest tooth of the chain ring) and also adjust the back fender to the lowest shift
(the smallest tooth of the flywheel) to check whether the chain slack is more than 15 mm (as shown). If it is more than 15 mm, the
chain is too long. Visit your supplier to have the chain shortened to ensure your bike's optimal performance.
Common sense tips for use of speed control system:
Do not reverse while changing speed, as this could lead to failure and cause the chain to fall off. As much as possible, do not change
gears rapidly. You should increase the speed gradually by moving up one gear at a time. If the electric bike is idle for a long time,
the chain will switch to the minimum pulley tooth and the smallest flywheel, so as to avoid wearing out the mechanical flexibility.
The chain, fluted disc, flywheel, derailleur should be kept clean and lubricated (oiled appropriately).
4. OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT
4.1 PAS SYSTEM
The PAS system is also known as the 1:1 PAS system. When you do not rotate the throttle but pedal with your feet, the 1:1 pedal assist
system's sensor will automatically sense your riding speed and control the motor to automatically assist you in maintaining the same
speed, making your ride easier and helping you ride further.
