• Do not use any extension cables, power strips or electronic ballasts. Only connect the mains plug to a
mains socket.
• Do not wind the cable around the heater.
• Do not use the product in stables or farms.
• Do not use the heater in saunas.
• The product must always be grounded at the wall socket during use.
c) Batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
• Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage
through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin,
therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk that
children or pets may swallow them.
• All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead to
battery leakage and device damage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
d) Miscellaneous
• Do not use the heater to dry clothes.
• Do not use the product for thermal storage in indoor spaces.
• Never use the appliance as a heater in a hot air system.
• The heater will remain hot for a while after it is turned off. Do not move it during this time.
• Never operate the product in cupboards or other small enclosed spaces, as this constitutes a fire hazard.
• Keep a sufficient distance from other objects during use to ensure sufficient air circulation.
• Moving the product by dragging the base may crack or dent the floor. Lift the heater up if you want to
move it. Use suitable protection for valuable floor surfaces.
• Never use the product in vehicles or other moving spaces. The product is only suitable for use in
stationary areas.
• Do not leave the heater unattended during use.
• Only move, transport or store the heater when it has completely cooled down.
• Only use the heater in temperate climates, not in tropical climates.
• Do not run cables under a carpet or cover them with throw rugs, runners, or other similar objects.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of
injury.
