Recipe
Belgian Waffles
Delicious waffles that are great for a snack, for dinner, or for breakfast.

lngredients
2 cups of wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
½ cup granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
2 cups of milk
½ cup of melted butter
2 egg whites
Cloudberry jam, for serving
Whipped cream, for serving
This is how you do it:
1. Mix flour, baking soda, salt and sugar in one bowl.
2. Then mix egg yolk, milk, and the melted butter in another bowl, and mix the flour mix while stirring, so it
won't lump.
3. Beat the egg whites hard, and put them in the mixture. Bake the waffles in a waffle iron and grease the
griddle in between.
4. Serve the waffles with cloudberry jam and whipped cream.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Firstly, disconnect the mains plug!
2. Only clean when the appliance has completely cooled down.
3. Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly. For baked food residue, squeeze
some warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue then clean with a non-abrasive plastic
scouring pad or place wet kitchen paper to moisten the food residue.
4. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.
5. Caution: Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric
shock!
