CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before performing any operations make sure that the electrical plug
is disconnected from the outlet for obvious safety reasons.
All the stainless steel parts will stay as good as new if they are
properly cleaned by using a sponge soaked in a light cleaning
solution or in products specifically designed for the care of stainless
steel and afterwards rinsed and dried. They should be periodically
wiped with a cloth moistened with alcohol; Do not use abrasive
substances such a steel wool or caustic substances.

Avant d'effectuer n'importe quelle opération, vérifier que la fiche
d'alimentation électrique est bien débranchée pour des raisons de
sécurité évidentes.
Toutes les parties en acier inox conserveront leur aspect d'origine si
on prend soin de les nettoyer avec une éponge imbibée d'une légère
solution détergente ou de produits spécifiques pour le nettoyage
de l'acier de les rincer et de les essuyer; nettoyer de temps en temps
ces surfaces avec un chiffon imbibé d'alcool. Eviter absolument les
substances abrasives comme les pailles de fer ou les substances
caustiques.
CLEANING THE FILTERING SYSTEM
Loosen the two lateral screws located in the lower section (fig. 1) and
remove the filtering system with an outward and then an upward
movement.
Push the two lateral tongues and the two central ones towards the
outer edge, so as to remove the filter fastening frame (fig. 2).
Remove the polyurethan foam microfilter (fig. 3). Push the other two
lateral tongues towards the outer edge and remove the stainless
steel microstretched mesh filters (fig. 4).
The filtering system must be cleaned every 120 hours of work by
soaking the prefilter and the stainless steel mesh filter in a solution
of water and noncorrosive degreasing cleansing agent for 15-20
minutes. Afterwards, accurately rinse and dry them. The polyurethan
foam microfilter must be replaced after approximately 120 hours of
work.
