CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before performing any operations make sure that the electrical plug is disconnected from the outlet for obvious safety reasons. INSTRUCTIONS FOR TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTIONS POUR LE TECHNICIEN INSTALLATION Unpack, removing all the wrapping and protecting material. Check that the package contains all the literature and necessary accessories: the guarantee (to be filled out and returned to the manufacturer), the instructions, the metal brackets, the dowels and the screws supplied on equipment (to fasten the suction unit onto the wall). -

CONNECTION TO ELECTRIC SYSTEM This appliance is equipped with three-pole HAR H05 VV-F sec. 3x1 mm2 type power cord with die-casted three-pole plug in compliance with BS 1363/A standard, for 230 V - 50 Hz A.C. operation. The earth wire is yellow-green (fig. 7). If the cord is damaged it must be replaced (with one having the same characteristics) by the Manufacturer or an Authorised Service Centre or by personnel with similar qualifications. -

REINTEGRATION AIR The air sucked by the hood must be replaced with the same quantity of external air drawn from a nearby room (where no open fires are burning) or from outdoors, and delivered to the kitchen where air is lacking. -
Page 12: Removing The Exhaust Unit From The Wall
REMOVING THE EXHAUST UNIT FROM THE WALL The exhaust unit can easily be removed from the wall in order to simplify cleaning or servicing operations. Unscrew the two screws located at the front of the reducer (fig. 11). Take down the exhaust unit, place it on a flat surface and remove the cover by unscrewing the three screws (A - fig.12) and loosening slightly (two turns) the two screws (B - fig.12), without removing them. -

REPLACEMENT OF LIGHTING LAMP Loosen the two lateral screws that lock the lamp cover-guard in place (fig. 15). Remove the lighting lamp from its connection by holding its right-hand side and pulling it out and sideways (fig. 15a).
