MaxLite LED HighMax Bypass Lamps
®
Installation & Operation
1.
Disconnect electrical power to the fixture. Make sure the circuit breaker that supplies power to the
fixture is turned off.
2.
Remove existing HID lamp from the fixture.
3.
Remove old ballast or disconnect from existing lamp socket (See Fig. 1).
Dispose of removed HID lamp & ballast in accordance with government regulations in your area.
4.
Reconnect line voltage to the existing lamp socket (See Fig. 2).
5.
Install new LED replacement lamp (See Fig. 3). Do not over-torque or over tighten the lamp.
Note: Vertical mounting only.
6.
Apply re-lamping label on a visible location inside the fixture.
7.
Turn power on.
