• Use of capsules other than Lavazza BLUE.

MACHINE SET-UP
Put the stand on a fl at, horizontal, stable
surface, far from water, open-fl ames and
sources of heat. The stand (at least its back
part) must be placed against a wall, in a loca-
tion where it can't be knocked by passers-by
or moving objects. The machine must be cen-
tred when positioned on the stand.
If you are not using the stand, put the ma-
chine on a fl at, horizontal stable surface far
from water, fl ames or sources of heat. Dis-
connect electricity supply if present. Never
cover the machine with towels or other items
when it is switched on.
Press down the tank cover to release and raise

PREPARATION OF MACHINE
Remove the plastic internal cover.

The utilization of a water fi lter (optional accessory)
improves the quality of the water, and extends the
machine' s operational life expectancy. Use the Lavaz-
za AquaAroma Crema Brita® fi lter.
To insert the fi lter follow the instruction leafl et en-
closed with the accessory. Changing the preset fi lter
selection is not recommended.
Fill the water tank until the MAX level (4/5 cm

from the upper edge) using only fresh, potable,
still water.
