• Connect the SATA data cable and the SATA power cable to the hard disc. Observe the position of the
angles at the plugs and the hard disc.
• Then attach the hard disc to the digital recorder with 4 matching screws.
At the left edge of the screen, you can see a battery (type „CR2032") on the PCB (vertical in a
battery holder). It is used for data retention of all settings in the OSD menu etc.
If you find that settings in the OSD menu are lost (if the digital recorder is disconnected form the
operating voltage), you can replace this battery with a new one.
• Re-attach the housing lid to the digital recorder and attach it with the 9 screws removed at first.
b) Connection
• Connect the 4 Western sockets „CH1", „CH2", „CH3" and „CH4" on the rear to your cameras.
If you are using cameras that match the digital recorder (see, e.g., the accessories offered online or the
digital recorder), they also have Western plugs and can be connected right to the digital recorder.
For other cameras, the enclosed camera connection cables can be used.
The yellow BNC plug is used to connect the video signal, the white cinch socket for the audio signal (if
your camera can provide an audio signal, e.g. via an integrated microphone).
The round plug at the camera connection cable serves voltage/current supply of the camera.
