8. Commissioning
a) Install Hard Disc in the Digital Recorder
For the digital recorder to be able to record the signals of the connected cameras, you need to install a
suitable SATA hard sic of size 8.89 cm (3.5") with a capacity of max. 1 TB. A hard disc is not enclosed. It
must be ordered separately.
The digital recorder must be replaced to install the housing lid. You will require a suitable Phillips
screwdriver for this.
If the digital recorder is operated permanently (24h per day, 7 days per week), observe that a hard
disc must be used that is suitable for permanent operation.
Proceed as follows:
• First disconnect the digital recorder from all connected cables.
• Put the digital recorder on a clean, level, flat table. Use a suitable soft underground so that neither the
digital recorder nor the table will take damage.
• To remove the housing lid, turn out 9 screws in total.
First start with the 2 screws at the left and right, then unscrew the 5 screws at the rear. Lift off the housing
lid upwards carefully then.
