b) Mains adapter/Mains Cable
• The mains adapter is constructed pursuant to protection category I.
• Connect the mains adapter only to a proper protective contact mains socket of the public
mains via the enclosed mains cable.
• The mains socket to which you connect the mains cable for the mains adapter must be near the
digital recorder.
• The mains adapter/mains cable is only suitable for operation in dry, closed indoor rooms; it
must not become damp or wet. There is danger to life from electric shock!
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling the cable.
• Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, do not stop on it.
• If the mains adapter or mains cable are damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electric
shock!
First deactivate all sides of the mains socket to which the mains adapter is connected (e.g.
switch off the respective fuse or turn out the fuse. Then deactivate the associated FI protection
switch).
Only then pull the mains plug from the mains socket and take the product to a specialist work-
shop.
• Only use the enclosed mains adapter to operate the digital recorder.
c) Digital Recorder
• The digital recorder is only suitable for dry, closed rooms. Do not expose it to direct sunlight,
heat, cold, dampness or wetness; otherwise, it will be damaged.
• Never place any heavy objects on the digital recorder.
• Place the digital recorder on a level, firm, and sufficiently large area. Protect expensive furni-
ture surfaces from scratches or impressions with suitable pads.
• Never cover the ventilation slots.
