3.3.
Gas installation
Make sure the equipment's gas taps are closed.
Make sure you use the adequate type of gas for the equipment! Check the equipment's data plate
for information about the adequate type of gas and compare it with the type of gas you will use. In
case the equipment is prepared for a different type of gas than the one you want to use, call a
qualified technician to change the gas type.
Avoid any kind of pressure or distortion on the gas hose! Make sure the gas hoses are always
extended to assure the flow of the gas.
Installation works must strictly comply with current local and national safety regulations.
The gas hose must correspond with all current national legislation and must be periodically checked
and, if necessary, substituted.
Connect the gas supply hose (metallic hose) to the tap of the gas supply.
4. Operating instructions
Turn on the extraction hood before turning on the equipment!
Danger of burning! Do not touch any metallic parts whilst the equipment is working without
protective gloves.
Do not use any kind of inflammable or heat-sensitive material on the equipment! Do not use
plastic spoons or forks!
4.1.
Turning on the gas flame
1. In order to turno on the equipment, press the temperature regulator inwards, simultaneaously
turning it anti-clockwise
2. At the same time, press the lighter and keep it pressed for ca. 15-20 seconds until the gas flame
lights up.
3. Make sure the flame is lit.
All gas taps are equipped with a security system that automatically interrupts the gas flow in case
any of the gas flames fade or extinguish
4.2.
Turning off the gas flame
In order to turn off the gas flame, turn the regulator to position 0.
4.3.
Regulating the intensity of the gas flame
The bain marie has 2 symbols close to the regulator, a big flame and a small flame. The big flame
symbolizes the maximum flame, the small one the minimum flame. Turn the regulator in between the
two symbols in order to regulate the flame.
4.4.
Emptying the tank of water
Close the gas supply tap and take the gas hose off the equipment
Let the equipment cool down completely before emptying the water tank!
1. Make sure the water in the tank is cold.
2. Take out the tank, making sure not to spill water over the equipment. NEVER EXTRACT THE TANK
WHILE THE WATER IS STILL HOT.
3. Dry the tank with a soft cloth.
5. Cleaning
Always close the main gas supply before cleaning!
In order to avoid burnings, let the equipment and all its components cool down before any kind of
cleaning operation!
Do not use solvent, abrasive or acid detergents on the equipment!
