Touch screen
The touch screen can be operated by hand or using
a pen for example. To implement an action, touch the
appropriate point on the touch screen with a finger
or pen.

4.
Commissioning
4.1
Fitting batteries
¶
Insert the two batteries and press home until heard
to engage.

It is advisable to charge the batteries for at least
three hours before running the DCU 130 off the
batteries.
4.2
Connection
Prior to commissioning, make sure the mains voltage
coincides with the voltage specified on the power sup-
ply unit (use the power cord provided).

The scope of delivery only includes the German
power cord.
4.3
Operating system installation
1. Connect the power supply unit.
2. Switch on the DCU 130.
3. After switching on for the first time, use the langua-
ge selection menu to select the Windows operating
system language and follow the instructions on the
screen.

There is no provision for subsequent alteration of
the language. Should this nevertheless be necessary,
please contact your franchized Bosch dealer.

Wireless radio link information is displayed during
installation. Please heed these notes. Further infor-
mation can be found in Section 2.5.
4.4
Software installation
The Bosch application software appropriate to the
intended use must then be installed. The corresponding
installation information can be found in the instructions
for each Bosch product.
