3. Carefully route the solar panel cable to the light fixture.
Plug the solar panel cable into the connector extend-
ing from the side of the battery case.
IMPORTANT: Turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position and allow the battery to charge with 3 to
7 days of full sunshine before testing.
FINAL ADJUSTMENT
AND START-UP
After 3 to 7 days of charging under full sunshine, it is time
to do final adjustments and start using the light.
ON/OFF Switch:
On the side of the battery case there is a push button
ON and OFF switch.
OFF Position – Used for shipping or extended periods
of non-use. Also used for the initial 3-to-7-day charge
before final adjustment and first use.
ON Position – Used for normal operation of the light. This
light fixture is designed to automatically turn on when the
sensor detects a temperature difference moving across
the front of the motion sensor. Note: Photocell keeps the
light off during daylight hours.
After the initial 3-to-7-day charge, toggle the ON/OFF
switch to the ON position.

Adjusting Lamp Housing:
Aim the lamp to face the area you wish to illuminate.
Walking Test:
The sensor detects "motion" by the movement of heat
(body heat) across the coverage area. However, follow-
ing are examples of objects that also produce heat and
can cause the sensor to false trigger:
• Pools of Water
• Dryer Vents
• Heating Vents
Note: The detector is less sensitive to motion directly
towards it and more sensitive to across motion.
