The height of the shoulder straps can be adjusted by moving the
backrest of the child car seat in an upward or downward direc on.
Adjus ng the backrest height ( Fig.20)
To raise the shoulder straps: raise the backrest, holding it with the
handle grip located at the top, on the rear of the backrest, un l the
shoulder straps are at the height of your child's shoulders.
To lower the shoulder straps: pull the backrest slightly, in an upward
direc on, and press the backrest adjustment bu on (1), located at
the top of the backrest.
Whilst keeping the bu on pressed, lower the backrest, un l the
shoulder straps are at the height of the child's shoulders (2).
Release the bu on to lock the backrest into posi on.
WARNING: For security reasons, you cannot lower the backrest by
only pressing the pushbu on.
FIXING THE CAR SEAT - FROM 15 TO 36 KG (Fig.21-25)
(Applica on range from 3 to 11 years of age approximately).
Remove the safety harness before fi ng the child car seat.
Release both shoulder straps from the connector located on the rear
part of the backrest. Remove both straps from the backrest, sliding
them through the holes located on the backrest.
Remove the crotch strap and shoulder straps, inser ng the ends
through the slots located under the base of the seat and on the seat
cover.
(1) Pull the adjustment strap, un l the connector (Fig. 1 - m) is close
to the rear part of the child car seat.
(2) When the safety harness has been removed, fix the adjustment
strap located at the base of the child car seat, as shown Fig. 24.
Store the safety harness in a safe place.
To fit the safety harness to the child car seat again, repeat the
opera ons carried out to remove the harness in the reverse order.
Place the child seat on the appropriate vehicle seat.
Check that the vehicle's backrests are blocked in ver cal posi on.
Ensure the vehicle seat in the most rearward posi on.
