OPERATION: TILT & FOLD
Starting with Mast H [H] remove the Tilt Pin and fold down the
Stem [G] and Wing Set.
Replace the Tilt Pin so that the Stem is locked down into place.
Repeat this process for Mast J [J].
NOTE: Wheel Cradle position may need to be adjusted in order
for V-Wings to fully lay flat.
TIP: If the tilt motion offers too much resistance or quickly "drops"
instead of folding smoothly, adjust the tension of Tilt Bolt on the
Stem until the motion becomes comfortable.
Always confirm Tilt Pins are full secured and the Stems are locked in place before transit.
OPERATION: SEPARATION OF RACK
When needed, the BikeWing V4 may be separated into two
independent 2-bike racks. To separate, remove the Spring Nut
[N] inserted into Mast H [H] (Steps 4 & 5) and re-insert the
Spring Nut [N] into Mast J [J].
In the same manor as Step 6
install Mast J [J] into vehicle
receiver and secure using
the Silent Hitch Pin [C] and
Washers [D & E].

With both Stems [P] locked down, remove
the Tilt Pin on the Shank [A] and fold the
carrier up.
Re-insert the Tilt Pin to lock the carrier
into place.
