MATERIALS
A 1 Main Cross Bar
B 2 Chassis Rail Bush Left ( 22 mm OD x 62 mm long)
C 2 Chassis Rail Bush Right (22 OD x 58 mm long)
D 2 Side Arms
E 4 M10 X 100 X1.5 Bolts, 4 Nyloc Nuts, Flat washers (40mm OD outside rail and 30 mm OD inside rail)
F 6 M10 X 40 X 1.5 Bolts, 6 Nyloc Nuts and 6 Flat washers 30 mm OD.
G 1 Electrical plate (ZEP 3)
H 4 Bolt Caps
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. Remove rear carpet floor and lower spare wheel as per vehicle instructions.
2. On inside chassis rails expose 2 mounting points on each side. These can be well hidden and remove wax oil.
3. To obtain access to outside chassis rails undo 2 arch lining clips on both sides and 2 underside torx screws and lower
exhaust box for more access to left side arm.
4. Fold back arch linings and insert Bolts (E) with 40 mm washer into Bushes (B) and locate into left chassis rail.
Carry out same process for right side with Bushes (C).
5. Locate side arms to chassis rails and loosely tighten with 30 mm washers and Nyloc Nuts.
6. Lift up cross bar (A) to side arms and tighten fully using bolts (F). Continue and tighten bolts (E) to
recommended torque.
7. Attach preferred neck and Electrical Plate Bracket (ZEP 3) following the additional fitting instruction provided. Fully tighten
all remaining fixings to the recommended torque setting. Fit Bolt Caps (H)
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings:, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
