The checkbox behind the method will activate or deactivate the automatic use of the sipper
when calling up the respective method.
When calling up a method for performing a measurement, the spectrophotometer will detect
automatically, if the method is programmed for the use with the sipper module. The method
specific sipper module settings will be called up automatically.
Note: If no methods are defined in the list of the sipper methods, the sipper module
will not be used even when connected and activated.

10.4 Activating and deactivating the sipper module

In the menus for scan and color measurement, the sipper module can be deactivated via
the measurement menu to enable the measurement of samples without the sipper module
even when connected and activated. To deactivate the sipper module, press
corresponding measurement menu and select "Deactivate sipper". To reactivate the sipper
module, proceed in the same manner and then select "Activate sipper".
