10.3 Programming of method specific sipper module settings

Before using the sipper module the methods to be run with the sipper module must be
defined. This allows for the use of different parameters for pumping time, rinsing time and
settling time for each method. These settings are stored method specific by the spectropho-
tometer.
After connection of the sipper module to the spectrophotometer, please open the configura-
tion menu via
.
The popup with the sipper settings will appear (section 10.2). Chose the field "Methods" to
enter the menu for programming the method specific sipper module settings. Clicking on the
icon
will open a popup window for creation of a new sipper method.
Click on the field "Method" to choose the desired method for the programming. A list with all
methods suitable for evaluation in rectangular cuvettes will open. Please choose the method
of choice from the list. Set the pumping time, the rinsing time and the settling time. The times
are entered in seconds using the numeric keypad. The keypad opens by clicking on the
corresponding entry.
The function „Reset" will reset the settings for pumping time, rinsing time and settling time to
the values set in the general sipper settings (section 10.2).
Activating the checkbox "Enable Sipper" will automatically activate the sipper module when
calling up the respective method. Confirming with
stores the new method in the list of
the sipper methods.
After marking an entry from the list of sipper methods the options on the right hand side
become available. Confirming
will open the menu for setting the method specific sipper
settings. The settings of the method can now be edited.
