DE-SCALING OF THE CAPPUCCINO ACCESSORY CIRCUIT AND OF THE COFFEE CIRCUIT
n Empty the tank and put it back in place.
n If your product is equipped with our Claris - Aqua Filter System cartridge F088, please remove this
cartridge before the descaling operation.
n Fill the tank with a mixture composed of three parts water for one part white vinegar or a mixture of ½
litre of water and a packet of citric or sulphamic acid available in the shops.
n Insert the filter holder (without espresso ground coffee) into the appliance and lock it by turning it to
the right as far as it will go.
n Place a container under the cappuccino accessory.
n Press the "on-off" button (fig. 4).
n Set the selector button to the "pre-heating" setting. The "on-off " button will begin to flash. Once the
"on-off" button has been pressed, turn the selector switch to the "frothy milk" position (fig.18).
n Let half of the mixture flow out of the accessory.
n Turn the switch back to the "stop" position.
n Place a container of sufficient volume under the filter holder.
n Once the luminous indicator has been pressed, turn the selector switch to the « coffee » position and
let the remaining mixture flow out.
n Turn the machine off using the "on off" button and leave the switch on the "coffee" position.
n After 15 minutes, turn the machine back on.
n Let the rest of the water run through.
n Turn the switch to the "stop" position.
RINSING
IMPORTANT!
After descaling, perform 2-3 rinsing operations with clear water (without espresso
ground coffee), as described in paragraph 5 "using for the first time".
The appliance is descaled and ready to be used again.

n No repairs will be carried out due to a lack of descaling and will not be covered by the guarantee.
