2. FAQS
The estimated time remaining is off, what can I do?
The Arc battery can become uncalibrated from certain use patterns or other
factors, in almost all cases the battery is still healthy. If you notice a large
difference between the predicted time remaining and how long your Arc
actually lasts, you can recalibrate the battery runtime display by doing
the following:
1.
Charge up to 100%.
2.
Discharge uninterrupted until the unit turns OFF, true 0%.
3.
Charge back up to 100% plus 2.5 hours charging (at least 9.5
hours).
Can I leave my Arc plugged in all the time?
No, your unit is not designed to do so. This will lead to quick miscalibration
of the estimated display and will harm the battery over long periods of time
plugged in.
How should I store and charge my Arc for long periods?
An Arc can hold its charge for up to 1 year but there is a risk of the battery
going flat. We recommend storage between 40-80% and topping up the
charge every 3 months as needed. Do not store at 0% charge long term,
lithium-ion batteries lose a few percent charge per month and within a few
weeks your unit may be permanently damaged.
Will my Arc power a certain device or tool?
Visit our handy power calculator at energizerarc.com/power-station-calculator
to see an estimate of what your Arc can power and how long.
Can I recharge while powering devices at the same time?
Yes, your Arc is equipped with pass-through charging which means you can
recharge your Arc while using it to power devices at the same time.
Why is the wireless charging not working?
Please check the USB port is turned on then try charging your phone again.
The USB power button controls both the USB ports and the wireless charging
capability.
