4 Notes on commissioning and operation
Warning
Electric axes can move suddenly with high force and at
high speed. Collisions can lead to serious injury to
human beings and damage to components.
S Make sure that no−one can gain access to the
operating range of the axis or of other connected
actuators, and that no objects lie in the motion range
of the axis while the system is connected to a power
supply.
Warning
Danger of injury.
Faults in parametrization can cause injury to people and
damage to property. In the following cases a reference
run is absolutely essential in order to set the reference
coordinates and the working range correctly:
during initial commissioning,
when the referencing method is changed,
after each time the logic voltage supply is switched
on!
Carry out commissioning with the Festo Configuration Tool
configuration software (see FCT help system), or optionally
with the control panel (only type SFC−DC−...−H2) in the
following steps:
