LIFTING MOTORCYCLE
Lifting, lowering and leveling of the lifter under the motorcycle must always be done by two people.
While one person is operating the lifter, the other person must secure the motorcycle to the side to
prevent it from falling over during the lifting or lowering process.
1. Only use the lifter on firm, level ground.
2. Make sure that the lifter is in the lowest position. Roll the lifter under the motorcycle until the two
rubber blocks are under the double loop frame. Make sure that no parts of the motorcycle such as
hoses, cables, etc. become pinched.
3. Close the release valve by turning the valve clockwise as far as it will go. Press the foot pedal until
the rubber blocks are in contact with the frame.
4. When the rubber blocks are resting on the motorcycle frame, apply the wheel brakes on the lifter
and press the foot pedal until the desired height is reached.
5. Tilt the safety clips so that the safety clips snap into the retaining lugs on the base frame. To do
this, it may be necessary to raise or lower the motorcycle a little more.
6. Before working on the motorcycle, it must be secured with retaining straps. To do this, attach the
retaining straps to the motorcycle and to the mounting points on the base frame.
7. After securing with belts and releasing the brakes, the lifter including the motorcycle can be
moved carefully with the help of the maneuvering bar. ATTENTION: The lifter may only be moved
on level and firm ground.
LOWERING MOTORCYCLE
Lifting, lowering and leveling of the lifter under the motorcycle must always be done by two people.
While one person is operating the lifter, the other person must secure the motorcycle to the side to
prevent it from falling over during the lifting or lowering process.
1. Make sure that the brake is locked, then remove all safety belts.
2. Raise the lifter slightly until the safety brackets can be returned to the release position.
3. Open the release valve carefully and in a controlled manner (turn counterclockwise). Before the
wheels come into contact with the ground, the second person has to adjust to balancing the
motorcycle.
4. If the motorcycle is stable, the lifter can be completely lowered.
5. Pull the lifter out from under the motorcycle.
MAINTENANCE
Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Lift. Check for broken, cracked, or bent
•
parts, loose or missing parts, and any condition that may affect the proper operation of the
product. If a problem occurs, have the problem corrected before further use. Do not use
damaged equipment.
Before each use, thoroughly test the Lift for proper operation prior to its actual use.
•
Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Then, store the Lift in a safe, dry location out of reach of children
•
and other non-authorized people.
•
Change the hydraulic oil at least once every three years.
CHANGE OIL
1. With the lifter fully lowered, remove the oil filler plug on the side of
the bottle lifter.
2. With assistance, place the lift on its side to allow the old hydraulic
oil to drain out of the lifter's oil reservoir completely, and dispose of
the old hydraulic oil in accordance with local regulations.
3. With the lift upright, completely fill the lifter's oil reservoir with a high
quality hydraulic oil until the oil just begins to run out of the oil fill
hole.
4. Reinstall the oil filler plug.
