a power drill, drill a hole at the stud location through

Install the vent hood bracket to the vent hood Match the openings in the vent
hood bracket to those on the hood Use the included screws to tighten the
bracket securely to the vent hood

Hang the vent hood on the wall bracket You will see 2 rectangular openings
between the vent hood bracket and the hood itself These two openings will
install over and down into place in the corresponding openings on the wall
