5.1 Sub-assemblies accessories / options
Prism
Anti-twist fastening with cylinder head screw M8x20 in clamping device. (Available for all common gas
nozzles as a function of the gas nozzle diameter).
Reamer
The reamer dimensions are determined based on the gas nozzle and torch geometry for an immersion
depth up to 50 mm.

Maintenance unit

Consists of a filter regulator and oiler. The maintenance unit separates solid particles from the
compressed air and adds atomized oil for lubricating the pneumatically driven components.
Injection unit

To spray the gas nozzle from the front after cleaning.
Assembly stand

Offers a simple and low-cost option of installing the BRS-LC while saving space.
Air-blast and injection

unit (24V)
A combination that is used for air-blasting the interior of the gas nozzle and injecting anti-spatter agent
into it through the cable assembly.
Solenoid valve (24V)

To air-blast the interior of the gas nozzle during cleaning.

DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
The following instructions must be adhered to for the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, mounting, dismounting and
repair work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
NOTICE
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Please take note of the following instructions:

7 Transport and installation
CAUTION
Risk of injury
Physical damage due to falling devices and mounting parts.
• Use an appropriate lifting tool with load handling devices for transport and installation of the BRS-LC.
• Avoid abrupt lifting and setting down.
• Do not lift the components over persons or other devices.
• Transport the components in upright position.
• Wear your personal protective equipment: safety shoes with steel caps, work protective gloves, safety helmet and ear
protection.
• Expel bystanders out of the danger zone.
• Please observe the weight of the individual components.
