Maintenance unit

Consists of a filter regulator and oiler. The maintenance unit separates solid particles from the
compressed air and adds atomized oil for lubricating the pneumatically driven components.

Offers a simple and low-cost option of installing the BRS-LC while saving space.
Air-blast and injection

A combination that is used for air-blasting the interior of the gas nozzle and injecting anti-spatter agent
into it through the cable assembly.

6 Putting into operation
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
The following instructions must be adhered to for the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, mounting,
dismounting and repair work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Disconnect the mains plug.

• The system may only be installed and put into operation by authorized personnel
6.1 Installation
The BRS-LC can be installed in any position and orientation, with certain reservations. However, a trouble-
free function is only guaranteed if installed as shown in Fig. 3 Torch cleaning station sub-assembly BRS-LC
on page EN-9.
Screw down the BRS-LC on a vibration-free surface or on the optionally available assembly stand by means
of four screws (ø8 mm).
