- Page 3 IDENTIFY THE PARTS ON YOUR CRIB The Sleigh crib when sold included a front "drop" gate that could be moved between an up position and a down position to provide easy access to a child. The crib design uses four tracks to help guide the gate as it is moved up and down.
- Page 4 All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com Step One: Position the front gate in its fully UP and LOCKED position. With the help of another person, carefully tilt the crib on its side so that the front gate is positioned on the floor.
- Page 5 All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com Step Two (Identify the Parts): Notice at the bottom of the crib at each side there is a gate track that engages the bottom edge of the gate and a stop washer that is secured to the track by a screw. As mentioned above, the lower track may be either plastic or metal.
- Page 6 All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com Step Three: Starting at one side, use the included Allen wrench or a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw and stop washer. Save these parts. Slide the black sleeve over the gate track as shown below. Make sure that the sleeve engages the either the channels of the plastic track or the edges of the metal track.
- Page 7 All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com Step Four: Use the Allen wrench (or a Phillips Screwdriver) to re-secure the stop washer and screw within the threaded hole of the track. The stop washer will hold the sleeve in place on the track. Tighten the screw.
- Page 8 All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com Step Five: (inspect the installed parts) Repeat the above Steps 2 through 4 to install the second sleeve on the lower track located on the opposite side of the crib. Once complete, have another person help you carefully raise the crib back to its upright position.
