► Fold the sanding head holder (8) open.
► Pull out the extraction hose (6).
Insert the new extraction hose as shown into the
sanding head holder.
Make sure that the ring (h) rests in the groove (f).
► Close the sanding head holder with the screws.
Place the extraction hose with the mounting clip (7)
on the receiver (g) and tighten the clip.
Never sand without extraction hose since dust ex-
traction will otherwise not work.
Replacing the carbon brushes
Replace the carbon brushes once they have been worn
down to approx. 4 mm.
Remove the carbon brush cover (22) on the side of
the motor cover by turning it counter clockwise using a suit-
able screw driver.
Remove the carbon brushes; note the position of the
spring retention.
► Insert the new carbon brushes (23) observing the correct
position of the spring retention.
Replace the carbon brushes only in pairs.
► Screw in the carbon brush cover (22) again.

Care
Observe the following to maintain the operability of the
machine:
 Clean all moving parts regularly.
 Remove dust and dirt using a soft brush or a dry cloth.
 Do not clean the machine with running water or high-
pressure cleaners.
 Do not use solvents for the synthetic parts (petrol, alcohol,
etc.) as these can damage the synthetic parts.
 Keep handles dry and free of oils and grease.
Water, solvents and polishing agents shall not be
applied.
 Make sure that the vent slots of the engine's cooling fins for
engine cooling are free (risk of overheating).

Store unused products in a dry, locked place out of the
reach of children.
 Before a longer period of storage carry out the following to
