„Personal safety"
The operator is responsible to third persons within the area
of operations.
Adhere to national regulations that might specify an age limit
for the user of the unit.
If possible, suitable dust extraction should always be
connected. The operator as well as persons in the work
area must wear a dust mask.
The dusts generated during sanding represent a health haz-
ard and may cause allergic reactions or diseases of the air-
ways when inhaled or when coming into contact with them.
Do not sand any materials containing asbestos!
Asbestos is known to cause cancer!
Do not sand paints containing lead! Risk of poi-
soning!
Provide adequate ventilation if you cannot connect
any dust extraction
Immediately stop working when you feel unwell (e.g. head-
ache, dizziness, nausea, etc.). Otherwise there is an in-
creased risk of accidents.

„Power tool use and care"
Do not use the device on wet surfaces!
Remove all nails and metal objects from the surface to
be processed before sanding.
Do not modify the device or parts of the device respectively.
In the following cases switch off the machine, wait until it
has come to a standstill and pull the mains plug:
The sanding disc hits nails or other foreign objects (
check whether the sanding disc, sanding pad or the de-
vice is damaged).
Carrying out repair work.
Performing maintenance and cleaning work.
Removal of faults (including blocking of knives).
Transport.
Leaving the machine (also during temporary interrup-
tion).
Check the machine for possible damage:
Before further use of the machine the safety devices
must be checked carefully for their proper and intended
function. Only operate the machine with complete and
correctly attached safety equipment and do not alter an-
ything on the machine that could impair the safety.
Check whether movable parts function perfectly and do
not stick or whether parts are damaged. All parts must

be correctly installed and fill all conditions to ensure per-
fect operation of the machine.
Damaged safety devices and parts must be properly re-
paired or exchanged by a recognized, specialist work-
shop; insofar as nothing else is stated in the instructions
for use.
Damaged or illegible safety labels have to be replaced.
Store unused devices in a dry, locked place.

Use only original spare parts, accessories and special
accessory parts. Accidents can arise for the user through
the use of other spare parts. The manufacturer is not lia-
