System Setup menu options in standby
Below are all the available settings in the setup
menu. The first setting in each is the default.
System demo setting

(this starts when you plug in for the first time):
• Demo On – Switches the demo feature on.
• Demo Off – Switches the demo feature off.
Key lock setting
The Key Lock feature is useful when you've set
the wake-up timer and don't want the system
switched on before it activates.
Note
1 After setting the clock, the demo mode switches off automatically. However, if you unplug the system from the wall outlet, the
demo mode will revert to Demo On (and the clock will be reset).
2 Most models of the newly developed countdown PAL TV system detect 50 Hz (PAL)/60 Hz (NTSC) and automatically switch
vertical amplitude, resulting in a display without vertical shrinkage. However, in some cases, the image may appear without col-
or. If your PAL TV does not have a V-Hold control, you may not be able to watch NTSC discs because of picture roll. If the TV has
a V-Hold control, adjust it until the picture stops rolling. On some TVs, the picture may shrink vertically, leaving black bands at
the top and bottom of the screen.
