Safety Instructions
This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by

people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from this.
Children must not play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by child-
■
ren, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept
■
away from the device and the connecting cable.
Warning of hot surfaces! Please keep in mind that the de-
vice and accessories may become hot during use! Only take
hold of the designated buttons and handles of the device!
The device should always be unplugged from the power sup-
■
ply if it is not supervised, and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Also do not repla-
■
ce the mains cord yourself. If the device, the mains cord or the
device plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufactu-
rer or customer service or by a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g.
qualifi ed workshop) to avoid any risks.
The device is not intended to be operated with an external timer
■
or a separate telecontrol system.
Risks of injury

Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of
suffocation!

Scalding hazard! Hot steam is produced when in use. For this reason, do not open
the cover.
■
Burn hazard! Never attempt to remove the fi lter holder during the brewing process.
The fi lter holder / fi lter becomes hot during use. Be careful when removing the fi lter
holder, there may be hot leftover water in / on the fi lter or fi lter holder! First let the fi lter
holder / fi lter cool off before removing / cleaning it.

Burn hazard! Never add water to the water tank during the brewing process or when
the device is switched on! Always switch the device off to refi ll it!

Burn hazard! Do not move the device during the brewing process.
■
Do not use the device if it is damaged.
■
The freshly prepared beverages are hot; be careful when handling hot liquids.
■
Lay the cable so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
