• Set the dial (15) to the TIME SET position and the time display
begins to blink.
• Set the time with the HR (12) and MIN (13) buttons.
• Select the time format with the 12/24 (14) button. You can
choose between 12 or 24 hours. In 12 hour format, the device dis-
plays "AM" in the morning and "PM" in the afternoon (in front of
the time display).
• Set the dial (15) to the CALENDAR setting and the date display
begins to blink.
• Set the month, day and year with the MONTH (12), DATE (13) und
YEAR (14) buttons. The week day display is set automatically.
• Set the dial (15) back to the LOCK position.
• Select the desired temperature unit with the °C/°F (8) button
(degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F)) for the temperature dis-
play.
Setting alarm
• Set the dial (15) to the ALM SET position, the alarm display
begins to blink.
• Set the desired alarm time with the HR (12) and MIN (13) buttons.
• Set the dial (15) back to the LOCK position.

Using the alarm function
Set the dial (3) to the desired alarm function, ALM ON or SNZ. The
display shows either the alarm symbol or the alarm symbol with
the Zz symbol (SNOOZE).
Dial(3) position
Meaning
ALM ON
The alarms sounds for one minute at the set
alarm time. The alarm tone can be canceled by
pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT (2) button. The
alarm sounds again the next day at the set
alarm time.
SNZ
The alarms sounds for one minute at the set
alarm time. After one minute or if the
SNOOZE/LIGHT (2) button has been pressed
during the alarm tone, the alarm tone stops and
sounds again in 5 minutes. While the alarm
repeat is active, the Zz symbol blinks in the dis-
play.
To deactivate the alarm, set the dial (3) to the
ALM OFF position.
ALM OFF
The alarm function is deactivated.
